Thank you for joing me for this late fall decor. Each one of the homes on this tour offer "something different" in the various different styles and personalities of our home. Please stay tuned until the end where you'll find links to all of the other home tours.
After Halloween, I am definitely one of those people that starts pulling out Christmas decor. I start looking forward to Christmas in July. It's my favourite holiday and the only thing I look forward to in the cold months. So naturally I want it to last as long as possible and start as early as possible as a result. That doesn't mean autumnal decor gets packed away though. I really like mixing my pretty faux pumpkins with sparkle, lights, and evergreens during the month of November. I feel like I'm still honouring and enjoying Autumn while still welcoming what's soon coming.
To start, I keep my DIY Modern Scandi-Boho Fall Wreath up until December. I made the wreath two years ago and still get excited to pull it out each Autumn. To be honest, last year I left it up through December because I just haven't found a Winter wreath I love as much yet. Perhaps I'll have to pull together another DIY for the holidays this year!
The Living Room
As you've probably become accustomed to with me by now, you know I don't do a lot of obviously seasonal decorating. I focus on creating the vibe and experience I want to have. And now that the cold has fully set in, it's all about cozy, warm layers. In the living room I bring out the warmest, softest blankets I own and the coziest throw pillows for lots of sofa cuddling. I always have a mug of warm drink like tea, hot cocoa, and the occasional coffee. It's warm things from the inside out for me.

The Dining Room
The dining room is in the middle of a bit of a redesign right now so I won't be sharing it today. I shared a very simple fall tablescape at my sun porch table in my early fall home tour. Here's a look at that for an idea of what the table would look like if the room were ready for any kind of tablesetting right now.

Two other spaces I'd like to share with you today are the bedroom and bathroom. That pretty much wraps up the extent of what's "finished" in our home right now. After the dining room makeover, kiddo is getting a makeover, and then I will finally be moving onto the guest room. So there's lots to look forward to the future.
The Bedroom
In the bedroom, I've kept the extra layers in classic Autumnal colors. I recently finished repainting this room. It was a labour of love. I feel like the space looks so much fresher now though. The wall color in here is "Stony Path" by Valspar.Curtains are in transit for the room right now. And I have yet to figure out what to hang above the dresser. As for autumnal decor though, it's always all about the textiles. The faux floral garland over the window helps pull the autumnal vibes in too though.

The Bathroom
The bathroom follows the same theme as the rest of the house. Little touches that make the room feel cozy, warm, and welcoming. I like to fill the room with plants when I enjoy a bath. And lit candles add to the overall feeling I get on those rare relaxing bath days.
