Wellness Gift Guide

What does wellness look like to you? Does it mean feeling healthy? Taking time for self care? Wellness looks a little different for each of us. But I think we can all agree it's about feeling good about all of the different areas of our lives. I've specially chosen these items as things I personally use on a regular basis to feel well.

Tea Mug | Tea Infuser | Tea Sampler Gift Set

Making and drinking tea has become a bit of a meditative process for me. From steeping the tea to drinking the tea, there's a lot of time for reflection. There's a lovely sense of coziness feeling a warmth in the belly. A cute mug, tea infuser, and a tasty tea are lovely ways of gifting this experience.

Nourishing Oil | Jade Roller

I've recently started prioritizing skincare and with that I've set aside most mornings and evenings to do a quick little routine. I find that when I take the time to care for myself in this little way, I'm more likely to care for myself throughout the day as well. Some easy items to have on hand and gift are nourishing oils and a jade or quartz roller.

Neck Massager

I'm sure most of us spend a little too much time hunched over looking at phones, laptops and various other screens. A helpful gadget I've enjoyed having is a neck massager. They make them with straps to put your arms through that help pull the massager even deeper into the neck. It's pretty great and I think it would be an appreciated gift as well.

Journal

Journals are wonderful because they can be whatever it is you need them to be. Occasional list maker? Enjoy chronicling daily events? Taking notes? Love to doodle? Journals are wonderful gifts because the giftee can do whatever they want with them.

Himalayan Salt Lamp

Himalayan salt lamps are touted to have many benefits. They're supposed to cleanse the air, enhance mood, raise energy, calm allergies, improve sleep, reduce sleep, among other things. Even if they don't do these things, the glow from the lights are really beautiful and they make a nice addition to a home's decor.

Essential Oil Diffuser  | Essential Oils

I love using my diffuser and use it from the moment I wake up til I go to sleep each day. Essential oils can compliment whole body wellness from enhancing moods to encouraging good health. I especially enjoy having a diffuser with a candle-like flicker light as I find it so cozy to have on. A few of my favorite essential oils are thieves, stress away, peppermint, and lemon.

Bathtub Tray | DIY Bath Soak

Everyone could benefit from a bath, don't you agree? I find myself soaking in baths for a variety of reasons but I always end up feeling better afterwards. Some things I've found helpful in making a bath experience is a bath tray for keeping books, phones, candles, and and tea at hand and a soothing bath soak. My DIY bath soak has epsom salts, green tea, and essential oils for a truly lovely smelling, healing experience.

Dwelling Book

This is a wonderful book that makes the connection between our surroundings and our overall wellness. She shares simple ways we can all alter our homes to encourage a sense of wellness in our moods and health. It's an encouraging book that I think many would enjoy.

Crystals

Whether or not you believe in the healing properties of crystals, they're naturally really beautiful pieces to have. A general healing kit makes a wonderful gift but if you know someone is dealing with something specifically, you can look into which crystals aid in what they're hoping to accomplish. Try amethyst for stress relief, tiger's eye for mental clarity, and lepidolite for mental balance.

Do you use any of these items? Which ones are your favorites? Will you be gifting them this year?

  2. This is very interesting. I am curious why haven't I known about a neck massager before? I think I need to buy it, but I don't know where to seek it.
