April marks a month of warmer days and lots of rain for us in Virginia. It's exciting looking froward to days spent out in the sun ahead but we are still spending much of our time indoors for right now. While I'm stuck inside, I wanted to put a focus on skin care, productivity, and cleaning up my wardrobe this month. The packages I've unboxed for April's wellness unboxing have got me so excited to take on those goals now. Keep reading to see my Young Living Essential Rewards, The Ordinary, and Causebox orders.

Clove Essential Oil - This is one of the oils in the Thieves blend. I love it's spicy aroma and picked it up to diffuse with citrus oils. It's a perfect Fall scent oil.
Lemongrass Essential Oil - This oil is perfect for adding to homemade cleaning products. It has a herbal citrus scent. Lemongrass oil can also be used aromatically to inspire a sense of clarity and relaxation.
En-R-Gee Essential Oil Blend - I was most looking forward to this blend. As someone who regularly struggles with fatigue, I wanted to give this blend a try in my daily routine.

The Ordinary
The Ordinary is a Deceim brand offering high quality treatments at affordable prices. There is no subscription service. Their products are available through their website and mainstream retailers like Ulta.Shop The Ordinary Here
Serum Foundation - I chose the shade 1.0N for a very pale neutral color. The consistency is just as the name would indicate, a serum. It's on the lighter end of coverage though it did do a good job of evening out my skin tone. I will have to continue working with it to see if it's a good fit for me.
Moroccan Argan Oil - 100% cold pressed and organic. Sinks into the skin nicely and doesn't feel heavy. I chose this oil for it's anti aging, moisturizing, and skin healing benefits.
Rose Hip Seed Oil - 100% cold pressed and organic. Also sinks into the skin nicely though feels just a touch thicker. I found the area of skin this was applied to felt a bit softer than where I had applied the argan oil. I chose this oil for it's moisturizing, anti aging, and firming qualities.
Squalane - 100% plant derived. This sank in fast and did not leave much of any residue behind. The patch of skin I applied this to felt much softer than the spots I applied the other oils. I picked this up for adding hydration to my face care routine.

Causebox
Causebox is a seasonal box curated to contain items appropriate for enjoying the season it's delivered in. The boxes are designed by artists and the items within it are all ethically made. Some products are designed exclusively for Causebox but all of them come from socially conscious brands.Get Your Causebox Here
Post Card - A bright floral motif designed by Tatiana Boyko. Find her on Instagram at @tboyko. This is also the artist that designed the box itself.
Pixi Mood Zoe Crossbody in Honey - A perfectly sized structured every day bag. The one I received is in the color honey and it's exactly what I had hoped to receive. A discount code was included in the box, "CAUSEBOX15" for 15% non sale items on the Pixie Mood website.
Bentgo Stackable Bento Box in Blush - This stackable container include three reusable plastic utensils, a larger compartment, and a split compartment. Perfect for snacks or lunch on the go. The blush color is super on trend.
Artisan Direct Sustainable Grocery Starter Kit - This is something I've had on my shopping list for years now and just haven't taken the plunge. There are two different style bags, a tight woven fabric and a loose woven fabric, perfect for all the bulk grains/pastas/veggies/fruits and more.
Earth Harbor Reparative Eye Cream - This eye cream feels more like a serum but it's full of impressive ingredients. I was impressed with the way it sank into the skin and how supple my skin felt afterwards. The company does all the good from vegan to fair trade to 1% for the planet and much, much more.
Cardea Auset CALM Mood Mist - This is a very luxurious looking aromatherapy spray. The scent is quite strong and I initially thought there was fragrance in it. Thankfully the scent is from essential oils.
Fosterie Layered Gem Necklace - Exclusively available in the Spring 2020 Causebox, this layered necklace pairs a simple gold bar with a second chain that has 5 small sparkly crystals. Handmade and fairly compensated by an at risk population in Medellin, Colombia.
Jenni Earle Wild + Free Bandana - So soft with a timelessly trendy print this ethically made bandana is perfect for tying up hair, wearing as a headband, an embellishment on a bag, a reusable napkin, and so much more.
Overall I'm surprisingly pleased with this month's unboxing. All of the products have far exceeded my expectations especially when compared to how much I've spent on them. The only product I don't see myself using is the CALM Mood Mist and it'll still make a very nice gift for someone else. Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to know what you think of them.
